Il nonno pistolero

stava seduto a terra, in un angolo in penombra; malgrado la sua fama di pistolero non è stato difficile arrestarlo perché quando gli ho puntata la mia colt in faccia lui non aveva nemmeno cercato di estrarre la sua dal fodero.
E con questo si è concluso il sogno.

Gunslinger grandpa was sitting on the floor, in a half-lit corner; despite his reputation as gun-fighter it wasn't too hard to arrest him, because when I pointed my colt on his face he hadn't even tried to draw his own from the case.
And with that the dream ended.

We've got a clue here, about dreams and words; I could've used the noun half-light instead of the adjective "half-lit", so as limelight instead of "reputation" or "fame"; and of course, one sitting in half-light couldn't be in the limelight...
I wonder about the meaning of the very experience, but I know that dreams aren't supposed to be less or more meaningful than "real life". So much for dreams, let's screen-play.
