this kind of (human) consciousness is NOT simple illusion; the illusion in it is to think and believe that it is different and separated from the very Conscience itself, or "the Self". In fact we don't "think" about it, nor we "believe" in it; actually we consider this issue very very seldom, if ever. This kind of illusion, which I've recently defined as "controlled unconsciousness", simply disappears when we dream, and its powerful grasp on our mind is lowered by different degree using diverse psychedelic substances, secondary modification of the original "controlled" (or submitted) "state of conscience".
