these days of wonders

yesterday was like a perfect day, at least for a while, with the first Sun of springtime shining over the human set of misery and me, sharing my lunch of walnuts with our neighbors the Pigeons, sitting on the doorstep to the terrace... loving them so badly, so closely. Jake from Hollowmoon (that is, The band) sent me a letter-like email message and to write -so to speak- about music and quantum and stuff with the very author of my favorite song (still) is kind of a delightful trip, i mean the music alone already seemed almost a miracle to me, and now that my E-pen-pal in years (if ever--i just remember of paper letters) is the very author of it, well...
guess i'm going to make a new Hollowmoon website; something to be proud of.
very proud.
and then again, yesterday is a tale from a magic realm, like those where you share your lunch of walnuts with pigeons... or your pajamas with wallruses. i mean, it's the same old wor(l)d.... just a bit different.
the strangest thing about it is that i was kind of impressed -more like hypnotized or ravished, i'd say- by the name of the director of that crap, the other day... that is, Insane, and the name is sandquist; when i read that, i thought of a fernquist at once, like if it was something or someone i knew. actually fernquist is another family name, but i just didn't know someone with that surname, in particular. now that i know that quist "is a Swedish surname meaning 'twig, branch", jake's surname turned out to be fern. i know, i know this may appear just another game of words... well, it is, just like everything else we know. in this case, the "figuration" doesn't require a great effort from the reader, i mean, a branch is a branch, much like what a hand is for humans. and i know i made that up, that i dug the ancient swedish word out from a crappy swedish flick to bind these words -facts,  people- together... but it just seems like "real." and i do like it.
